The Technical Challenge: Narrow Door Frame

Upon arrival, our technical assessment revealed that the customer’s door frame was too narrow to accommodate the standard strike plate included in the Philips retail box. Forced installation of the stock plate would have resulted in an insecure fit or potential damage to the timber frame.

To provide a professional and secure result, the standard solution wouldn't suffice.

The Solution: Specialized CNC-Machined Strike Plate

At ADE Smart Home, we go beyond standard installation. We utilized CNC engraving technology to fabricate a custom strike plate specifically designed for this narrow frame.

Technical Improvements:

1. Custom Dimensions: Perfectly matched to the narrow timber profile of the existing frame.
2. Integrated Ramp Design: We incorporated a precise beveled "ramp" on the strike plate to ensure the latch retracts smoothly and locks securely without friction.
