Why Door Assessment Matters for the S6 Max
Camera smart locks are larger than compact lever locks. The body, mortise and indoor panel all need enough room, and the camera should have a sensible view of the approach to the door. We assess the door and frame before confirming the installation rather than assuming that one template fits every property.
The main checks include door thickness, existing cut-outs, usable panel width, mortise space, frame alignment and security-screen clearance. Glass beside the lock or an external pull handle can also reduce the available mounting area.

Face, Vein and Visitor Features
For daily entry, Face ID can reduce the need to touch the panel, while finger-vein recognition provides another biometric method. The dual-camera system and remote video calling are intended for checking visitors at the door. The indoor 4.7-inch display provides a local view from inside the home.
These features make the S6 Max most relevant to households that want both biometric access and a visual front-door check. Customers who only need fingerprint and PIN entry may find a simpler model such as the X9 more suitable.
Supplied and Installed Price
The current S6 Max package is A$1,199, including the lock and standard Adelaide installation after the door is approved. The package includes the stated two-year local warranty. Covered lock faults are assessed and replaced under the warranty terms rather than repaired.
Non-standard door preparation, repairs, additional components or substantial custom work are discussed and quoted before booking. This keeps the advertised package clear while allowing for doors that need more than a standard installation.
