Compatibility Checks for a Large Smart Lock
Before booking, we review the outside and inside faces of the door, the door edge, current lock, frame and any nearby glass. We also need to know whether an external screen door closes in front of the main door. The panel projection and handle movement must have enough clearance for both doors to operate normally.
Door thickness, mortise space and existing holes affect whether the lock can be installed as standard work. Some doors are suitable after careful preparation; others may be better matched to a narrower smart lock. The standard price does not conceal extensive door repair, unusual metalwork or additional parts that cannot be confirmed from the normal installation scope. Any extra work is explained and quoted before booking.
Choosing Between V5 Max and S6 Max
Choose the V5 Max when palm-vein access, a 2K video doorbell and Apple HomeKit are priorities. The S6 Max is another premium camera option with 3D face recognition, finger-vein access, dual cameras and an indoor display.
